I can't dance. I mean, I like to *think* I can, but truly, I cannot. And I am not even a knowledgable critic or follower of modern dance. However, I like to tell myself I can spot something powerful and meaningful when I see it.

Flip Labs
Founded by former Fast Company colleage and long-time co-conspirator Cheryl Dahle, Flip Labs helps you see, think, create, and fund differently in order to get change unstuck.
As an Advisor to Flip Labs, I hope to spread the word about their powerful model for change and encourage organizations and individuals to FLIP the way they are looking at problems.
In Other Words
Sara Leslie and I have been friends since Wellesley. That's a long time. Not Roman-times long, because we are both aging very well, thank you very much. But, we have learned together, worked together and continue to co-mentor each other for close to 20 years.
She is one of the smartest women I know.
She is an incredible author, strategist and advisor to companies and individuals on using content in effective and impactful ways.
Scenarios USA
Founded in 1999, Scenarios USA is a national non-profit organization that uses writing and film to foster youth leadership, advocacy and self-expression in students across the country, with a focus on marginalized communities.
I have been honored to be a judge in 2014 for the New York region, and also to help Maura Minksy and her team with their annual benefit gala. I am excited to find more ways to support and work with Scenarios. Check them out.
The Event Studio
I have spent alot of time in the event world. People often ask me for contacts of smart people who help curate, create and catalyze the content and experiences that bring brands to life. Most of the people I know who do this are colleagues from Fast Company.
My dear friend and colleague Elizabeth Busch and her amazing partners at The Event Studio have been helping organizations with events for over 15 years. They are the best in the business.
Another friend, colleague and co-consiprator in the events space is Gina Imperato. We all worked together at Fast Company, and on many projects since those days. She is whip-smart and always, always exceeds the project scope in amazing ways.
The New Victory Theater
The New Victory is amazing. I love it. I have seen mind-blowing shows here, and it is one of the places (among many) that makes living in New York so cool. Despite the cold, the crowds, the grit, and the general level of crazy people you have to deal with every day. And that is before you leave your lobby. But I digress.
Melissa Kalt in the Development Department has graciously allowed me to insinuate myself in all manner of things at the New Vic, and I am excited to be a member of the Business Advisory Council.
